How a design and build project runs with us.

Brief and site
We start with what the space has to do: the menu or the treatments, how many people it serves, the budget and the date you want to open.
- 02
Design and costing
Layouts, 3D views and working drawings, with a detailed bill of quantities so you can see where the budget goes before work begins.
- 03
Build
Civil work, electrical and plumbing, ceilings, flooring, joinery and finishes, run by our own project managers against the drawings.
- 04
Handover
Equipment in, snags closed and the space cleaned, so you get the keys to a place that is ready to open.
An architect-led studio
Steel & Space is led by a registered architect. The team brings together architects, interior designers, kitchen specialists, restaurateurs and project managers, so your space is planned by people who understand how it will be used and built by a team that knows the drawings.
We have delivered more than 50 projects over the last eight years, across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

What does Steel & Space do?
We are a design and build studio in Delhi NCR, led by a registered architect. We design restaurants, cafes, clinics, stores, offices and homes, and we carry out the work as well.
Do you only design, or do you build as well?
Both. Most projects are turnkey, where we handle the drawings, the costing, the civil work, the services, the furniture and the finishing under one contract. Design-only work is possible if you already have a contractor.
What does a project cost?
It depends on the size of the space, the condition it is in and the level of finish. Before any work starts we prepare a detailed bill of quantities, item by item, so you can see what the budget is going into and change it before it is spent.
Which areas do you work in?
Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Recent projects include Hauz Khas, Vasant Vihar, Dwarka, Greater Kailash, Amar Colony and Greater Noida.
